Through this, the drainage project of blocks 36 and 37 of the Mafalala neighborhood was selected, a neighborhood with serious drainage problems due to the topography and quality of high clay-sandy soils and high groundwater level. The project consisted of the construction of a main ditch about 180 m long, for the conduction of surface waters, which was equipped with a sub-surface drain to lower the groundwater level in the surrounding areas. CONSULTEC prepared the Project and provided technical assistance during the works. A survey was made, the hydraulic design, list of quantities, price estimation, drawings, and technical specifications, having done non-resident inspection.
