Environmental Study of the Rovuma Basin Area 4 Floating Liquified NaturalL Gas (FLNG) Project Home|Projects|Environmental Study of the Rovuma Basin Area 4 Floating Liquified NaturalL Gas (FLNG) Project EEA signed a Concession Agreement for Research and Production with the Government of Mozambique for block Area 4, in the Rovuma Basin, with the National Hydrocarbon Company (ENH), owned by the Government. The scope of the work included the preparation of the Environmental Impact Study for an LNG Plant about 60 km off the coast of Palma district. As part of this Project, in addition to all the tasks involved in carrying out an EIA, the following specialty studies were carried out: Maritime navigation; Socio-economics; Fisheries; Marine ecology.
